It all began in June on holiday for a week with friends. Having had the idea for years, it made sense to at least have a look at some properties whilst in the area.
Having viewed some completely unsuitable huge projects that had seemed like a good idea on the websites, we got sensible ( as far as anyone in the situation can be viewed as sensible). A list of what we do and don't want made us realise that the last property we'd seen completely fitted the dream. And a project. So one silly offer accepted later, we completed on 18th September. A remarkably trouble free process, mainly because the house and barn needs absolutely everything doing to it. The adventure begins......
